2 full days, 3 photographers, 7000 images! Just a little summary off this fabulous wedding. A year ago I met Elliot and Dana down in Pinehurst for their engagement session (click here). Back then I knew the day was going to be special, but I had no idea just how awesome the wedding was going to be. If you don’t know, Pinehurst was established in 1895 and is one of the locations of the U.S. Open Golf Championship (one of the sports 4 “majors”) It was a destination wedding of sorts. Elliot’s grandfather lives nearby and his family has ties to North Carolina. But most of the guests came from far away. Elliot and Dana live in Oshkosh, WI. I had such a great time spending two days with Elliot, Dana, and their family. They are great people and that made it really enjoyable watching all the special events unfold. The weekend started for me by meeting the girls for croquet and bridal brunch. The girls had their matching outfits and Dana had made each girl a personalized visor. Evidently there are about 350 croquet courses in the country and some of the people there were practicing for the World Croquet Championship. Who knew it was such a popular sport. The day concluded with a rehearsal dinner at Elliot’s grandfather’s farm. The next day was the wedding day! We had beautiful weather and the azaleas were in full bloom! I could tell you more about it, but let me just show you …

A fish-eye shot from my brother.

The wedding day started at the Spa.

Dana’s mom surprised her with diamond earrings!

Elliot suprised Dana with a beautiful necklace! Elliot’s brother came over to reveal the gift. A great shot from my brother.

Dana’s and her father share a special moment as he sees her in her dress for the first time.

Next to the 18th green of the famous Course #2 is a statue depicting Payne Stewart winning the 1999 U.S. Open. The guys wanted to do a little reenactment.

Nice shot from Tiger.

One of my favorites of the day. The sun came out momentarily and I love beautiful backlighting it provides.

I love this family connection. Dana’s father greets Elliot’s grandmother.
